Helpful Measurement Tips

Chest Measurements

Measure under the arms from the fullest portion of the chest. Make sure to go over shoulder blades.

Waist Measurements

Measure around the narrowest portion of the waistline with one forefinger between body and measuring tape.

Hip Measurements

Measure around the fullest portion of the hip area. Stand with heels together, keeping the measuring tape straight and parallel with the floor.

Length Measurements

Measure from the high point of the shoulders down the length of the back. Stand with heels together, keeping the measuring tape straight and perpendicular to the floor.

Inseam Measurements

Measure from the center of the crotch to floor, following along the inside of the leg.

Shoe Measurements

Measure using a finger’s width of extra space between the longest toe and the end of the shoe. Make sure the heel doesn't slip around or move too much. For infants and other younger children, place your pinky finger between their heel and the back of the shoe you're trying on. Over time, make sure to keep an eye out for signs of irritation on the feet.
